Venus, the principle of love, harmony and attraction (Yin) and Mars, the planet of energy and sexual aggression (Yang) play a far more important role in sexual compatibility I have found. To see who is your best match compare your Venus with their Mars and your Mars with their Venus. If the signs are fundamentally compatible you'll tend to see a better chemistry. The sign Venus is in will tell you what type of people you attract and the sign of Mars tells an astrologer what type of people you pursue. For example, I have a Venus/Mars conjunction in Scorpio!! (Whenever you have a conjunction - two planets in the same sign in close degree to one another - you tend to blessed with the "IT" factor radiating a very strong sexual energy.) With Venus in Scorpio, I tend to attract intense, sexual, possessive, jealous types. With Mars in Scorpio I tend to pursue people openly aware of and in touch with their sexual personalities.
